Sounds good in theory LSUFan. It doesn't work that way though. When the SEC was considered the strongest conference there were only about two or three dominate teams who beat everyone else in conference and out. If all the west teams were strong as you mentioned and beat all the east that would be great. Only problem is we all have to play each other also and each of us would end up with at least a couple of losses which would eliminate any possible NC hopes. Hoping every team in the conference is strong or wishing Bama would get a crappy coach really doesn't have much effect on LSU, who by the way is the only team I'm really concerned about. Let's control the things that are in our power and that's LSU winning. If LSU wins next season it all takes care of itself. And you can argue BCS points etc., but all any team needs to get to the NC game is win and in doing so, hopefully beat a couple of top ten ranked teams. People can say the SEC is down all they want, so what. If we take care of our business we will be there.
