Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled we are going to a championship game. But with all the talk of the Rose Bowl, the Sugar is a real let down.
 Stormy, since your not accepting of the Sugar Bowl, I say you and the people on this board who are PO'ed we didn't go Roses, go out to dinner the night of the sugar bowl and drink your sorrows away that LSU didn't go to Rose Bowl. Don't bother watching the game since it's not the ROSE bowl and it's an irrelavent BCS game against a lowly Notre Dame with a shoddy QB. Come ON people. Be glad we are one of the 10 teams! Who cares who we play. Geezzzz. :tigerhead :tigerhead :tigerhead :tigerhead :tigerhead :tigerhead :tigerhead :tigerhead
I'm very very disappointed that the #4 team in the BCS doesn't get to play the #3 team in the Rose. I'm much much more disappointed that we don't get a shot at those overrated a$$lickers at USC. However a few weeks ago the Sugar looked like it wasn't even a dream and we were hoping to get to the Orange so it's not all bad news. Now let's just beat the hell out of Notre Shame.:geauxtige
This feels like a letdown right now, but to be honest at about halfway through this season if someone had told me we were going to go to a BCS bowl I would have been delighted. This really does beat a lot of other alternatives.
well thats what we get for getting out hopes up...we all know you cant predicted the outcome of a rivalry game...Yea it would have been nice to play the Rose Bowl...But Sugar for us with 2 losses is awesome.
I had booked my entire trip to the Rose, I wont be going to New Orleans unless its me and a buddy or two. Just not taking my wife and 2 small kids.
Guys we cannot be upset about this. You know how lucky we are to be playing in a BCS game, and it's in our back yard. After that second loss to Florida, did anyone think we would be playing in the Sugar Bowl?
