You aren't trying to say that 2.0> Mett are you? I know you are not going there. I just may have to stop in Plano.

No, Jennings didn't look better than the whole of Mett's career in one series. But that series showed Jennings had some tools and grit.

Let the guy play some more before you crown him Jefferson 2.0.

In that one series I think he tied Jefferson's completions.

"he" had his Ga Tech game and gave us all a double arm shit load of false hope. Then along comes the piggies to load us up once again. Iowa showed me all I needed. 2.0 it shall be.

To be fair, in the Arkansas game, his completions went to receivers besides OBJ (who was injured) and Landry. It seemed that he threw to the guys with whom he had chemistry (he was probably throwing to the guys he threw to all season during practice.)

In the bowl game, he was throwing to our two all-world receivers with whom he had little in the way of timing and chemistry. And...Jeremy Hill went all beast-mode on Iowa, as well. So, we ran him a ton.

It should not be forgotten that the touchdown bomb was a defensive breakdown with a wide-open receiver. Props to young Jennings for seeing it and exploiting the mistake, but he still has a lot to prove.
