If we win out we play for the National Championship. If we lose another game we do not. No need to worry about anything but Auburn and then the next opponent every week. The only thing that will be fun to watch is A Who we play in the SEC Championship game. B Who we play in the BCS title game. Right now my guess is A South Carolina B Oklahoma If not Oklahoma then a 1 loss Pac-10 team, which I predict will be Oregon. Kansas, ASU, Ohio State all lose at least 1. I cant wait to see USC in the Holiday Bowl!!!!:hihi: :hihi: :geauxtige
If only winning was that simple. BTW, if you want to see USC in pain, an Emerald Bowl appearance would be THE worst to them cause their fans really rode UCLA fans hard about that one last year- not only for the loss but the appearance too.
this game and the bama game will give you some kind of idea on where LSU will be playing in january. or december... the AU game is more important than the VT and Fla. game. hopefully everyone recognizes that. winning a :crystal: and being SEC :champs: starts saturday at 8:00 in death valley!! :geauxtige
Your right about the Emerald Bowl. Call me crazy but I have a weird feeling that lowly Notre Dame salvages their season and is in this game at the end with a chance to win it....and gets the luck luck of the Irish back and does. Or option B, They get blown out by 20 plus. I like the first option better.
Nothing would make me more happy than to see USC get beat (even if by one point) by Notre Dame... Bad enough they already beat UCLA, which just happened to be the last team to beat USC before Stanford... I laugh even when typing this..
And in each case the better team didn't win. Perhaps on THAT day, circumstances occurred which resulted in upsets including an irish win a few weeks ago when utla committed 7 turnovers, providing a constant short field. ucla> nd USC> ucla USC>Furd LSU>Auburn LSU>Kentucky I relish head to head competition. I get little satisfaction when OTHER teams beat the teams I don't like. And I got NO satisfaction from last week's result in Kentucky........cause I like LSU AND because I want USC and LSU to meet on the field. Beat the irish!
T in this case, stands for Texas. After USC lost to Texas in the NC game, bruins wore Texas shirts to Pauley when we played them in basketball and spent the entire game in burnt orange giving the "Hook em" sign. If a program wants to live vicariously through another, then why not take part of the name, hence utla. For instance, you would never see me doing the Tomahawk chop if Fl St were to play utla or the irish.
Oklahoma will have to beat a much-improved, unbeaten Kansas team in the conference title game to have any hope at slipping in.
