I tend to agree. Just ask Jacko or O.J. about that one. Dang, Jacko references. Maybe I really have had too much Rome. Ugh.

Well, I tend to agree with it. Remember the Brad Paisley song "celebrity"? The line says "The more they run my name down, the more my price goes up"

So then that would mean that Jacko is somehow now in higher demand than in his prime. And that is simply not true.

 Yes thats why the only way J. Kelly was able to get soccer talk was to buy it once a week. :hihi:
and yes Cowherd is the best on the air today but Tony K will always be my favorite. Thank god for xm, he has 2 hours there.

As with most if not all the local talk markets in the country.

I see a bit of a contradiction, CC.

You stated that Rome needs to act like a professional and divorce himself from favortism if he's gonna be on the national circuit. Yet you say you wouldn't mind if he were to favor UT or any other team, wouldn't that still mean he'd be behaving in a nonprofessional manner by favoring a certain team? It seems to me like you just have it out for USC. Just my opinion.

I don't mind that guy except for his monotone voice. Actually, right after the 2003 debate over who is the real NC (LSU or USC), he said LSU is the national champions cause they won the BCS game which was the predetermined game for the NC. So you can't think he's all that bad.

Note that I said that I wouldn't have much of a problem with it. I wouldn't love it and it would still bother me, just not to this magnitude. He appears to largely be favoring his largest audience by jocking a school that he didn't even attend. And that, I feel, is unprofessional.

Regadless of locale, alma mater, or opinion, to insinuate that an entire league of football teams is 'better off' when one or two certain teams are thriving is inexcusably foolish, particularly when other teams are negatively effected by the privelege so widely bestowed upon one of them.

Well I agree that Cowherd is the best. Very entertaining show. Hey, you have to pay the bills some how, so if soccer talk is once a week then its once a week. I make no bones about it that I heavily dislike soccer. But, there may be a few that like it. Of course, they are all prolly friends of J.Kelly. Oh, and thanks for the call today Gary, James or whatever your name is. I appreciate the fact taht you did bash me for soemthing today.
