I jumped to the end of the thread but I'll say this: Miles played Mett the entire 2nd half because he (Les) knows...

 

Keep in mind that JL was throwing to starting receivers while ZM was throwing to back-ups and freshmen....

 

I'd like to see Mett shred an SEC defense before I anoint him. I think Lee was 9-10 because he was managed well, not to mention the athletes he has at his disposal. Conference play will be totally different for BOTH of these quarterbacks.

 

...that if Lee got hurt, then we would be screwed for the next few games...

I look forward to Mett the next couple of years...but if we want to win our best chance is with Lee for now.

Mett did a great job leading a vanilla offense against a whooped opponent.
