I could have typed one letter and it would have been more phenomenal than anything you posted.

I would have no issue with this. In fact, it may help Lee out long term this season like it did in key games last year (see Florida, Alabama).

I think Lee is still fragile mentally and would be better off knowing it's not all on his shoulders.

Replace JJ's horrible part-time QB play with Mett instead, and I think LSU wins a national championship last year.

Great idea! Fix the "fragile mentally" QB by benching him periodically where he never knows if he's gonna sit from poor play or sit when he's hot, potentially making him feel he's not trusted by his own coach.

For that reason alone, I've never (NEVER!) been a fan of a 2-QB system. Too inconsistant.

QB's need to get in a rhythm more times than not. At if you dedicate your system to 2 QB's, you actually don't help out anyone.

Maybe they place a little too much importance on continuity and loyalty. I feel certain our QBs have been mismanaged since Perilloux got kicked off the team. The only reason Lee is starting is because JJ got arrested and I think that was a blessing in disguise. Miles was forced to make the right decision (we have RBs, we don't need our QB to be a running threat, we need our QB to be a passing threat to make running the ball easier).

I happen to agree at this point with playing Lee, but if he struggles it was very apparent that Mett is a legit passing threat. But I think Les will have trouble turning the reigns over to Mett even if Lee struggles mightily. So I basically disagree the coaching staff will definitely play the QB that gives us the best chance to win if that QB isn't Lee (unless JJ comes back, then they might give it back to JJ :dis:).

I agree but their loyalty just may blind them to the reality of who REALLY gives us the "best chance."

Just as an example, many of us were bewildered by the lack of R. Shep his first year. Miles later acknowledged this so it's not like they always see what's "best". Also, fans are not always wrong in their assessments either. ;)

Jarrett needs to rest that back foot from which he throws-- when he faces e serious SEC type blitz, he's gonna be using it a lot.

That should go for whatever stadium we are playing in... remember Tiger Nation doesn't just travel, it takes over.

I don't think the ratio of run to pass with the QBs against NWST had anything to do with confidence as much as it did the coaching staff wanting to see Mett throw it around in live game action.
