Where does he fit in??? Where will Hester fit in??? I feel that he will get a shot on the defensive side of the ball - linebacker. Anyone think we will redshirt him??? That's what I'm guessing.
Never understood why Rivals gives him only 2 stars given all the major schools that recruited him. Is this just a fullback thing?
While most folks here dont seem too high on Evangel players, I am glad to see that LSU has possibly opened the gate to that school once again. Why not get players from all possible schools? Thanks for coming about Mr. Hester!

Dandy Don confirmed the committment today: Quote "Jacob Hester (6'0", 235, LB/FB) has committed to play football at LSU according to information I received from a family member at 1.20 p.m. I will have more on Hester's commitment to LSU in my Monday morning update. I'm very happy to hear this and I hope we are still in the running for Luke Sanders. I am curious as to what happened with Hester. Not too long ago he was considered a lock to Texas. What changed? Perhaps us going to the national title game is what changed.
He stated on the evening news today that " I was going to Texas but when I visited LSU, they are doing amazing things down there and I couldn't see myself going anywhere else." welcome aboard J. Hester. :lsug:
