    correct i would argue that the force at the capitol would play zero effective role in any insurrection, regardless of the size of the force. unless the force was no longer simply at the capitol, but tens of millions, maybe hundreds of millions nationwide.

    i think if these libs are willing to be honest about this, they may concede that the physical security at the capitol is entirely irrelevant to the stability of our govt.

    BREAKING: Supreme Court DENIES Donald Trump's plea to keep his papers out of the hands of House committee investigating Jan. 6th insurrection at the Capitol Vote was 8-1 only Clarence Thomas voted no.
    It will be interesting to see what information is revealed.

    i can predict: nothing of consequence. trump wanted pence to oppose the electoral votes and send back to the states. we knew that.

    we have knon everything we need to know since it was happening in real time

    There is exactly zero in the constitution about investigating random people for no reason.

    Pleading the 5th is, however, in the constitution for such instances as above.

    Actually Congress does have a broad constitutional power to investigate and issue subpoenas. To say there is no reason to investigate January 6 is as ludicrous as calling 40 year old Ivanka a child.
