its not clear to me why there is a difference between your position and rex's. you both agree we almost lost our country to trump, and were almost transformed into a dictatorship led by trump. and this is of course ruins the greatest thing humans ever created. and according to rex, trump and his follower deserve the firing squad. and that seems fair, because treason is a terrible crime. why, winston, shouldnt trump be killed as rex wants? i think rex says what he does because is an intellectually insecure dullard who has chosen to ally himself with the left because the idea of insulting his superiors appeals to him. whereas winstons wrongness on jan 6th is not motivated by his motivation to call everyone racist, but by his lack of sophistication about the processes involved, how power works, and his having no understanding how the media operates with respect to trump.
