Im sure its human nature to feel a little betrayed. its like this girl I used to date, while we werent serious and agreed to see other people I got pissed when the bitch went out with someone else even though it was understood. though, I did feel it was ok for me to do it just not her. so, of course his parents are going to feel hurt and side with their son after already being emotionally committed to LSU as their new happy place then having to call all their little mormon friends and retract everything they had just said a day or 2 before. you gotta back your kid's decisions but often times they make you look foolish in the process.
