Hard to believe that Lee held the #2 record in school history for passes completed w/o a pick given his history. Hated to see those stats broadcast since it was a jinx waiting to happen, but wouldn't have known otherwise.

    Excellent game, Lee.

He threw to 8 diff. players. Moved the ball around well.

There's always room for improvement .... but, he got her done last night, and that is all anyone can ask.

In a way, yes.. But on the other hand, I wasn't surprised. He went his entire senior year in high school (a very productive one at that) without throwing a single interception, granted high school is an entirely different world..

He's essentially been on the bench for two years. The playing time he's now getting is what he needs to develop the timing with his receivers so that he can look away with confidence.

He still has that awkward, wrong-footed passing motion, but the balls were catchable and several, including the touchdown, were real beauties. He continues to improve each game, which is good.

I'm not suprised he threw a pick last night. It was bound to happen eventually. It seemed there was a miscue on the route ... RR went right, Lee through straight. Plop .. right into the defenders hands.

I am going to watch the game again soon but does anyone remember what type of plays we checked to when we used the Meerkat offense? I thought it was a little strange because I don't remember using it in the previous 2 games and Lee seemed to be doing a good job of reading the defense pre snap. We used it very sporadically. Stud mentioned he did a great job of checking to the run as well.

The only flaw was in reading pre snap was on the INT. MSU was playing man to man on the outside a majority of the night but they disguised the zone on the INT play.

I agree. Yeah we could all find things that Lee should improve on, but the VERY positive thing is that he's improving every game and playing time is doing a lot for him.

I was concerned that the int was gonna mess him up some, but when the camera was on him at the end of the game he had a big smile on his face, LIKE HE SHOULD. So I'm starting to believe he's getting his confidence back. Maybe he's even remembering how to be a gunslinger.

Splitting hairs, but I think he said the best freshman receiver he had ever worked with. At least that is what I remember. Looked great regardless.

Great game by the Tigers. Looking forward to rolling into WV next weekend to take care of business. They'll smash mouth run the ball on them for sure next week and probably be more conservative on the passing game again, but hopefully we see some nice PA passing and a few deep routes that open it up to give even more confidence on the O side of ball going into the UF game at home. Will be huge...
