    Kevin Definitely Earned His...

If for nothing else, he was huge pass blocking. I was impressed how often he picked up a blitzer and simply neutralized the pass rush.

Not that the others did not earn theirs for playing their assigned roles, but Faulk just stood out for the things he did without the ball in his hands.

They will all have a Superbowl ring long after the money has been spent.

Don't like the lack of playing time for the LSU players on New England, that's the thing that pushed me over the edge and rooting for Carolina. None the less happy for those guys to get rings.

I am not mad they aren't playing because they have a bad ass team and its incredible that they even get PT. I say that because it speaks well that they do get on the field, even though their are tons of players on that team that probably will never see a down. They will all get their chance once Free Agency comes around....

I too would have liked to see them all play a larger role but it appears Bilicheck(sp?) just might know what he is doing. Their lack of playing time also made it easier for me to pull for Carolina. No matter how much they played it is hard to earn a spot on a team talented enough to win 2 out of the last 3 Super Bowls. Congrats to the former Tigers no matter how large or small their role may have been.

i wonder though....not takin anything away from Kevin Faulk or Rohan but it seems to me every time they put Jarvis Green in he gets at least one sack.....shouldnt he be starting????

NE started out yesterday in a 3-4 so he was the odd lineman out. When they were in the 4-3 he was in there alot. He was close to sacks twice and batted a ball down.

Faulk, is primarily the 3rd down back. He used to be their return specialist until they got that burner rookie.

Faulk is a pretty big part of their offense, just not like Double D down in Houston.

Rohan, well he is a backup, Brady wont be dethroned anytime soon and I dont blame them. He has 2 superbowl MVP's in 3 years.

Kinchen was there simply to snap. He was Parkview about 4 weeks ago teaching school. He was there for a specific reason.

Jar. Green plays alot more then you think, he like Kevin appears to be around alot on 3rd down and 2nd and long .......

I think its great the Pats have so many LSU players, its give those kids some people in the lockeroom that they have a bond with and its good for the program.
