One of the best coaches in college football right now, never played the position he coaches. The OLine coach for the NC Fla St team, played Safety in college. Yep, Rick Trickett.

Javi didn't perform. Several guys regressed under him. Another telling sign is that several guys who didn't hit well for us go to the wooden bat leagues and tear the cover off the ball. Javi just wan't a good coach.

Have to agree, for what ever reason he didn't get the job done. Time to give someone else a shot, LSU doesn't have to settle on good coaches that don't produce high level results.

I'm 99.9% certain that Alleva/TAF/LSU Power Brokers had a behind the scenes meeting with Mainieri to "Suggest" that this happen.

“It is with a great deal of sadness that I have accepted the resignation from our staff of Javi Sanchez,” Mainieri said in a release. “I’m very sorry to see Javi leave because he has been such a big part of the success we have had at LSU in our baseball program over the last seven years. His dedication, hard work, and loyalty to our players and staff have been at the highest level possible.

so what success have we had under sanchez

only problem with this is katz had his own hitting coach so did rhymes and jacoby, and bregman brought down his old high school coach to help him,and most of the others were on you tube watching hitting videos,so how does javi get the credit for this?
