What's the deal on him going JUCO for 2 years?

I hope not. That would be dissapointing. He is ready to play now it seems.

I just read on one of the recruiting sites that he is indeed going to Butler CC in Kansas and will miss his freshman season at LSU.

Does that mean he can come to LSU after just one year at a CC?

For those of you who like numbers and what the recruiting services say, LSU is now #1 in the nation on rivals.com with a 3.8 average star rating per recruit, surpassing Miami at 3.75.

If all teams remained the same, LSU would have moved up to #17 from #24 with just this one commit.

    Not bad.

I believe it depends on whether he can qualify after one year? Not sure?

This is what I would assume.

If that's the case, not bad. He will be ready to play as soon as he arrives then.

Yeah but 2 years is a long time and we could lose him to another school. I know Wroten did not sign with LSU out of HS but he came here out of JUCO. I think it depends on what we do over the next 2 years and how set we are at DT.
