I think that you may have some reading comprehension issues. Your take is that I have a gay friend in SF who wrote an article and posted on a USC board???? WTF?

To answer your question, Stoops owns Mack with or without Davis.

i was joking about the mack brown thing.

That being said....what is the opinion of Mike Leach amongst football people? Everyone said he was crazy when he said Tech would put up the same numbers even after Kingsbury left. Symons put up sicker numbers. What would UT do if they had this guy? I watched a lot of their games and I can't help but think of Spurrier's fun-n-gun when I see this guy's gameplan. Phenomenal to watch.

Leach is the man and he's due some respect. I excluded him from my short list because he's already a HC and an improbable replacement for a hypothetically leaving Fisher.

Wow. That's really going out on a limb there. It never ceases to amaze me that these guys get paid to write this stuff. Of course if Jimbo leaves and is replaced by the Lou Tepper of the Offesive world we would have a horrible season and Saban wouldn't look to smart for hiring the guy. Thats almost as bad as the <insert announcer's name> Keys to Victory:

On defense, they must stop the other team on 3rd down and on offense they need to score in critical situations and not make many mistakes.

    Well, duh.

No coach can do it alone. Great coaches surround themselves with great people. You take ANY coach, and surround him with crap, and he will become mediocre.

The great coaches are the ones who can lose great people and replace with equal or better people. Saban has certainly done that so far.

Agreed SG. Saban has the character and integrity to attract top coaching talent as well as players. I was just wondering what everyone else thought but it's almost impossible to speculate at this point. It's good to know that as long as Saban is around we can trust that he'll make the best choice.

Here's the original article if anyone cares. http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2004/Columnists/SEC_Summer_Thoughts.htm

There is a significant faction of the AU family that supports CJF as a replacement for CTT, and the sooner the better. And the interest is not just in CJF, but in the other LSU staff contingent that have roots in Auburn - Muschamp, Searels, and Craig. I've also heard discussion regarding the AAD Sam Nader, but I believe that is much less likely.

See..... there's a little of that Auburn "flava" down on the farm after all.
