They say Oklahoma is better this year than last. How bad will they beat TX this year? OU had never beaten TX 4 years in a row until last years game. I believe it will be 5. I'm not sold on the defensive coaches.

West Coast sux. Carroll is a defensive coach on a team with a slightly better than average defense. He wins games with a high powered off. I'd have to say that if anyone would be washed up without their OC it would be Carroll without Norm Chow.

Man, I completely forgot about Bobby Williams. Do you think that his hire was partially in preparation for Jimbos departure?

Deductive reasoning: We led the nation in total defense so if the offensive coordinator leaves the team collapses. In fact it was the defense that repeatedly bailed us out game after game.

I believe that if Fisher leaves Dooley would get the OC job. He has done a great job with the backs and special teams. I suspect we had less special team penalties all of last season than in one game before Dooley took over that job. It is a crying shame that D. Davis lost so many yards due to penalties under the previous special teams coach.

Saban promoted from within when Muschamp took the DC job. That has worked out very well.

yeah wasn't that awful? poor DD had 3 tds or so called back and many huge returns. more laundry on the field on special teams than the raiders worst year.

I was kind of thinking the same thing, but he does have HC experience as well as NFL experience. I know he failed miserably with the MSU gig, but who knows, he may make a decent coordinator. Then again, Id rather not find out the hard way.
