I apologize if this has been posted already but I haven't seen it here. The following, from P&G, is Jimbo Fisher talking about Carter's indoor record: " Xavier Carter, he may be the fastest human I've ever heard of. By the way the record they were talking about, the record he broke, he'd never run on an indoor-bank track. Ever. Ever. He'd never done it in his life. They took him up there to warm up on Friday just to try and do some starts, and when you start you go uphill on that, and he fell down the first three times trying to warm up to start. Never done it. Got him in his prelims, got that ironed out, come around the fourt! h turn running so fast, he'd never gone on a bank track, he almost ran out of his lane. He stumbled the last 40 yards and ran a time that qualified. When he ran the second time, the old record, the fastest time on an indoor for a high school kid was 21.02. He ran 20.69, he beat it by over three-tenths of a second when he broke it. "
