Duke is a good basketball team. They played hard and we would not be so happy if we hadnt just beat such a quality team. I respect their players and Coack K. I do think they are not as good as some of the past Duke teams but they are still a very good bb team. If we had just lost i expect maybe Darrell Mitchell might be feeling the same way knowing that his college bb days would be over. Just shows the kid cares and put his heart into playing.
Honestly, give me a break. He was one of the best (if not THE best) players in the country who simply got shut down tonight. He's been dominating the court all year, save for a few games, and he's ending his college career on a very sour note. He's a passionate kid, so I don't see what the problem is with him showing some emotion. If you remember, Coach K did the exact same thing back in the early 90's when Duke got shut out in, I think, Bobby Hurley's last game. With big games come big emotions. Granted, I'm a Duke fan, but certainly not in this game. But I definitely respect J.J. Redick as a basketball player. There is such a thing as winning with class, as well. :dis:
