1. Barf

Dude coached at Fordham, PSU, and MSU.

Frankly, would be a massive downgrade.
  2. What I dont get is if E is staying as OC, we dont need another "OC". Do we?

  3. Yea, I don’t want a guy who’s going to come in and implement “his system.” I want it like Saban has it: we know what we do, and we do it well, we just need someone to run the show and alter things as needed.

  4. Probably not but our formula now requires it.

Here's the formula and a clip of E and Jb playing hide and seek. I think of this most times I see Brady with E actually. I can't shake it.

  5. I would 100% be concerned that if Moorhead was here, Brennan would be running a RPO 80% of the time. Brennan is not that guy and I would bet Moorhead wouldn't give a shit.

  6. I think Brennan can run the RPO, but Moorehead’s approach seems a bit rigid, and at least at MSU, he relied a lot on the QB to run, and that is not Brennan. I don’t know if he did that because he thought Garrett Shrader couldn’t throw, but even at PSU, I just remember Chase McSorley throwing deep bomb after deep bomb without reading the defense. He’s not our guy.

  7. Let’s also not forget what E did in the fiesta bowl last year. The man can run him a bit of a spread. Just need to bring in a guy to compliment him.

  8. That is what I mean. Sure, Brennan could maybe keep it a few times a game, but he is built entirely different that Joe; much more stiff.

Brennan, in all that we have seen him, if we use him, looks like a pure pocket passer.

  9. More food for thought: This year, virtually every team in the country wanted Brady to run their offense. Last year, literally no one but O wanted him to run their offense. O* demonstrated that he could find a diamond in the rough. Let’s trust him again.
  10. He also brought in Sullivan and Mickey Joseph. He isn’t batting 1.000. Still, I like Eaux for the job.

Local media is mentioning a return of Frank Wilson. That’s great if we can do it. But we have some weak links on staff I’d love to see “promote” out of the program, replaced by game changers.
