    This means nothing, but I was curious. I copied that email and ran it through writingtester.com. Does anyone else think its a little strange that so worldly and successful a businessman as Mr. Schenter would write at the 7th grade level?

    I noticed the same thing and I almost posted a comment about his lack of coherent writing.

    I guess that happens to super successful assessor office boys when they are living la vida loca in the clubs all night.

    dude, i noticed how terrible some that e-mail is.
    and it took me 3 tries to pass English 101.
    hell, one of my professors and I actually had this conversation:

    prof: "you grew up down one of the bayous, didn't you?"
    me: "yeah, down Montegut. Why?"
    prof: "you write like a bayou person"


    i'm thinking "bayou person" wasn't meant as a compliment.
