    Taxes have to be raised. Vitter would have raised taxes. Jindal bankrupted us to show how far right he could go. For all of you bitchibg about taxes going up, realize that a sales tax is a regressive tax which means it will effect lower income folks more than upper income folks. Also, its worth noting that sulphur, lake Charles, and a few other cities in the state will have the highest sales tax in the country at 10.75% when this passes.

    Baron Rouge already is at 9% so would sure be 10% or more with a raise.
