    It was time. With reguards to the timing, if you know he is going to be let go and the season is lost, just do it. It gives the ex-coach a head start on finding a new gig and the LSU search committee a jump on other coaching searches by other schools.

    This is a good thing. Now, let's just hope that they really want to take this program to the next level, where it should be.

    Dont agree with the timing of this unless there is someone waiting in the wings, which I doubt. Skip should have let the season play out. Regardless, Brady's time was probably up but I would like to have seen it done at the end of the year. I dont think its fair to the players. This move tells them their season is a throw away.

    Even if that were true I'd rather give somebody else an opportunity to turn the program around instead of maintaining the downward spiral with a known commodity like Brady.

    And if we win an SEC title in four years, I'll definitely be interested in reading your posts.
