I have talked to a college player from the 70's about the team and he says the same as I do...... The starting five should be this.... Davis Thomas Mitchell Mitchell and Rolle not Temple or Ben Voogd D Mitchell @ point T Mitchell @ 2 Thomas SF Rolle PF and baby C This is why, When teams are playing us man, What guard can stop Mitchell on the post. When teams are playing zone, We have 6'9 6'9 6'10 on floor, lots of offensive rebounds and lots of inside out ball movement.
Anyone find it funny that when LSU doesn't get a call against Ark-Pine Bluff or Memphis St. Comm. College when we are up 30 he will kick chair and scream bloody murder, but when he isn't getting calls against a mediocre team when they are up 8... he sits and puts... coach em up John... pyric victories are more important...
All this thread is missing is TE. Thank goodness his lips are now firmly planted on the rear ends of Lair members. I actually had people sitting around me saying that LSU looked great when Voogd was in the game. They would complain when Brady would take Voogd out. They claimed not playing Voogd a lot costed LSU the game. Some people on the ole TigerForums have about as much basketball IQ as those people do.
I still support Brady, I really do... but you can't deny the flaws out there tonight man Nevermind... I never dissed Voogd! hahah
