Nothing I like more than seeing an opposing QB picking himself up, removing a chunk of turf from his face mask, and gingerly moving his head to see if it's still attached. But really, I don't think we need to sack Wilson often. Hurry him, make him look over both shoulders, make him think "GEEZE, that SOB, number -- almost got me that time!" Make his hands sweat before the snap. He's poised and pretty damn good, but if we can keep him rattled, his game, and Bama's will be off. :milesmic:

Yeaaahhhhhhh....stats are on your side there, Dude. But I can't help agreeing that we've not put the hurt on in many situations where the hurt was necessary - and got burnt.

This passing defense needs to look more like Miss State than Kentucky, or we could all have stomach ulcers on Sunday.

i tried to read through all that but it looks like a cat walked across your keyboard while your font was on webdings. I kid i kid.

All i'm saying is if your going to talk about our out of conference games look at your own. I'd say Houston is better than Tulane, La Tech and La Monroe are on about the same level, yeah Western Carolina is a rent a win but everyone has those. I will agree that your SEC opponents have all been highly ranked, but what do you expect your in the SEC.

What do you base this on? Wilson is better than Cox, who had a damn good night against us. The Bama offensive line has allowed fewer sacks than our line has.

The Bama game has been very close the past two years.

and this is the rub for LSU. I am not gonna torch LSU here, they have a fine team. It is odd that no one here gives Bama a chance, yet with average coaching, they have kept it close the last couple of years... relatively speaking :p.
Whatever happens I hope that Miles doesnt Fulmer himself and become a complete jerk. The Bama v LSU game is full of tradition and memories. I hope a coach doesnt poison it.
Oh, one thing I think of in this rivalry is that the home team loses alot, traditionally. I hope that trend doesnt continue.

    Cheers

    ??

Unless I'm missing something, Miles has yet to give reason to believe he'll be anything other than competitively cordial to Bama and Nick Saban.

Can you clarify what you mean?

I think what he is saying is doing something stupid. It'll be an emotional game. Miles DOES NOT have any kind of record of doing it, but all it would take for a some unintelligent fans is to make some kind of hand gesture to the stands or something stupid. Thats my best guess.
