If being stupid and lazy were a crime he would have been in prison years ago. He was offered a $700,000. bonus by an NBA team, I think it was either the Washinton or Baltimore team, to lose weight and get in playing shape. He refused and gave up his career.

The John Williams from Tulane was "Hot Rod" and I think they started calling the John Williams from LSU "Hot Plate" during his last few years in the NBA. Wasn't Hot Plate recruited from California?

That guy had the most potential of any player I've ever seen play in the PMAC. He could do it all...run the court, handle the ball, shoot from medium to long range, rebound, block shots, etc. He could literally play any of the 5 positions on the court...don't know if I've ever seen that at LSU, before or since.
