Did he watch the Jeffersons on TV We in a heap o trouble , I mean a heap. No need too wonder why we run a few plays . And Miles wants too pay these men too play football [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41fqUSd6UEo]YouTube - Jordan Jefferson - LSU History Major‏[/ame]
These kids didn't get the history education we older guys did. To be honest with you, though, you don't sound real swift yourself.
And Auburn's soon-to-be-immortalized-in-bronze, golden child Cam Newton couldn't name a single play in Auburn's playbook when the ESPN cameras were on him. Maybe Jefferson could've talked about fan criticism being bullets for his mental gun. Doesn't shed the best light on the university, but no need to drag the kid through the mud for that. We don't need Jefferson to be a Rhodes scholar. We need him to know how to read defenses and find open receivers.
I don't see any problem with Jefferson making the circuit. LSU and Oregon will be set up as #1 and #2 going into that game on Labor Day weekend. That's just the way the media is going to roll with this. That means, ESPN will be pimping both LSU and Oregon over the coming weeks, and isn't it better than not hearing about us at all?
