I think both coaching staffs are damn glad they got who they wanted and the production they received, and that is all that really matters. Both Addai and Bush had a great impact. JA was one of several rookies who had outstanding years and I'm proud of him.

Both RB's had a great rookie season. The backs are used differently by each team but both did an excellent job. I think it is hard to compare them head to head because Bush is used in so many different positions. He returns kicks, punts, lines up at WR. I think both are going to be great RB's in the NFL for several years to come and both showed why they were number 1 draft picks. Congrats to Joseph Addai for winning the superbowl and having a great game.

    Is that a compliment?

I guess you are correct though, right now I'm an Auburn Tigah.

I actually got 4 positive rep points here today. They love me:thumb:

I've got to stick with Bush. Let's not try to be too homerish, guys. Addai had a great rookie year, but do you honestly think he's going to have a better career than Reggie?

First: of all most Louisianians claim both Addai and Bush because Addai played for LSU and Bush is playing for the Saints

You say that like its outside of the realm of possibility. As of right now I would say Addai is a perfect fit for the Colts offense, and hes good at all aspects of being a RB. Bush however look more like a "rich man's Bryan Westbrook" (as I agreeably heard someone describe him). As of right now, Bush really does not look like he could run it up the middle 25 + times a game, sorry but he needs to bulk up a little more for that. No offense to Reggie (because he is a good kid with alot of potential), but thats just how I see him right now.

Personally I hope they both go on to have stellar careers as they both have set the bar high for themselves in both play and character.

First of all, my point was not to say that one is better than the other. I was just curious about it, so I looked it up. I was surprised and elated that an LSU boy had stats comparable to the most hyped player that I can remember.

    Reggie Bush is Great......

    G.W. Bush is Awesome....

    Joseph Addai is World Champion!

Ty Webb: Thank you very little.

I will gloat much more when Reggie is a World Champ, because I'm a Saints fan before I'm an ex-LSU fan.

    I respect that.
I will always be LSU first... I am glad that Devery plays for the Saints.

Depends on how you define "Better"........a Super Bowl Championship ring or stats. Not that I'm saying Bush will have better stats, but some people consider stats meaningless without a SB Championship. Elway was held under the scope along those lines for a long time, many (ignorantly) question Marino career- sans Super Bowl Championship, and for as great as Peyton Manning is, that monkey was on his back until last Sunday too.

Addai has, in his first year, accomplished something that many great NFL players never do so in those regards his "Career" has already eclipsed many an athletes'.

BELIEVE ME, I am hoping Reggie gets a Super Bowl win, because Saints fans have been dreaming about this forever, and now it looks like we finally have a team that can get there--realistically as soon as next season, depending on our free agency and off season. Joe has one super bowl win under his belt and no one can ever take that away from him. I'm proud of him, Reggie Wayne and Peyton Manning for that. I just can't imagine anything in sports ever equaling the joy I'd feel if I got to see the Saints win a Super Bowl.
