I'm glad we have Devery too, and I hope we either draft Bowe in the 1st round or Davis in the 2nd round, because I could see Bowe starting (we may have to cut Joe Horn if he doesn't renegotiate his contract) and Michael Lewis won't be around forever to return kickoffs, so a guy like Davis would give us depth and more options.
Im just as happy for Joe as the next LSU fan, but I dont think he impacted his team nearly as much as Bush impacted the Saints. It will never show up on the stat sheet but Reggie drew so much attention from opposing defenses that the middle of the field was wide open for Colston, Devery and the rest of the crew....not to mention Brees had a great year but just think of all the fake reverses to Reggie that opened up the middle for Duece to plow ahead into the secondary untouched......the respect other teams showed Bush was unbelievable and his stats sufferred because of it and he had a tough adjustment to the NFL speed.
