JUCO OL Anthony Boudreaux commits to LSU 2006 probably 4 or 5 star player

I think two star means that they didn't get enough film on him or didn't get in time. I am not sure though.

"He's had a great start in the classroom and a great start on the field," said Andy Siegal, Dodge City's assistant head coach and offensive coordinator. "Hopefully that will continue."

Chalmette High coach Dominic Saltaformaggio said Boudreaux has put on weight since he left high school but has remained "very athletic."

"He was playing basketball in the gym last time he was here and just about pulled the rim down," Saltaformaggio said.

A transfer to Chalmette before his junior year set back Boudreaux somewhat academically, Saltaformaggio said. Boudreaux didn't qualify at LSU because he didn't have the necessary test score.

"Anthony is a real good kid," Saltaformaggio said. "You never worried that he would be out all night and wouldn't be back in school the next day. None of that. When it came to right or wrong, he always picked right."

Notice that at the bottom of this page that Tulane won a recruiting battle with theirself by signing a QB who is the nephew of their HC and the son of their OC. LOL

I'm curious, since he's JUCO, couldn't he, in theory, sign this year and play for us next season instead of going BACK to JUCO? As of right now, I read he's got a 3.9 GPA there, so I don't understand his need to stay on for another year. He's already academically qualified.

You gotta play 2 years at JUCO....I am pretty sure thats the rule, dont quote me. I think you need to graduate which usually takes 2 years, or some I guess 3 semesters, because a lot come mid term.

From all my searching I assume you are correct if they actually play at the juco.
