Great post MM, this all sounds promising, CCC's past performance as a HC is the only thing that concerns me. A new OL coach for next season to suit our new offensive philosophy would be marvelous as well.
I hear you, but the big difference here is that he will be set up for success if this all plays out the way the write up suggest. He would be experienced with the coaches around him, have an established offensive identity, the facilities in place, and most of all an established, top notch talent base. How great is it to hear he may be influencing a change in offensive coaches, which sounds like the O-line? Getting Stud out of here would be another step in the right direction offensively. It would be a nice transition from CLM to CCC if this all plays out. Provided he is successful, it could mean a really long stretch of coaching stability and program success for LSU w/high quality people we could all be proud of.
