I root for LSU guys, both while and after they play for the Tigers. But in the grand scheme of things, unless they play for the New Orleans Saints, I don't give a rat's ass if they leave LSU NFL-ready. I only care if they are LSU-ready. Miles win/loss record indicates that in general, they are.
Most shortcomings are being addressed with this hire. Go back and look at film when Joe Rob was here at LSU, he was one that was in his ear.
You do realize that his last line said something like, the new OC must dictate who plays, regardless of how long they've been in the program? My reading comprehension skills would lead me to believe that mean the OP was asserting (incorrectly) that Miles only plays upperclassmen. It's a long-held myth among those who bitch about Miles.
Don't get carried away sunshine. I still think your uncle Leslie is off his rocker, but if everything that the OP suggested actually took place it seems the new OC would in fact be the new HC. Might not be a terrible idea but just saying you know, that isn't how shit works in the real world. The OC doesn't get to come in and design the staff to his liking. The HC says here mother effer, here is some chicken shit, make me some chicken salad.
