    I think we'll finish 7-5 this year.

    P&G_wheelz007 Football anyone?

I see 3 winnable games on our schedule.

    We currently have 4 wins.

I think we can beat Florida, Kentucky and Arkansas. We have to win 2 to get to a bowl game.

I think Bama and Ole Miss are a lot better than us, and I think A&M will score too many points for us to keep up.

6-6 for me is very likely. 7-5 is possible. 5-7 is too.

We'll beat Florida, Kentukcy and I think we have a outside shot at beating either Texas A&M or Arkansas. And I think with a bowl win we'll finish the season 8-5. We finished 8-5 in 2008 so I've gotten used to the fact that this is a rebuilding year for LSU. Another team that looks good this year that finished with 6 losses was Miss. State. It's just the life of college football. LSU will be a very good football team in the future.

we are not beating A&M with this defense, nor Arkansas, they can run the ball. A&M will have time to pick us apart because we have no pass rush. Florida maybe, Kentucky no, they have a decent QB who can sling it. see previous comments on pass rush.
Ole Miss and Bama pound us like Auburn.

Beckwith is getting more time as he earns it, he's not in the doghouse. He could start this week. But he is getting caught out of position and whiffing on plays like the rest of the front 7. There are no magic cures for this defense. They simply have to play smarter at every position.

And Chavis may have to change some things. We will not have dominating tackles this year. We don't even have capable ones. We could see a nose guard instead of a middle linebacker to try to plug that middle.

You are right! Beckwith needs to improve as well. As @StaceyO said, we have gotten used to winning. It's a tough pill to swallow, watching them play this crappy.

To be totally honest, the whole damn team and coaching needs to improve. Except for the punting. Just have to accept the fact that this team is young, and are going to have to take their lumps. Hopefully, they will learn and grow as a team.

If we go 8-5 I guess I'll give Les another year. Seriously, I'd be pretty damn impressed if we could turn this year around to 8-5. I don't expect to make a bowl. I'm picking an LSU win over Florida with my heart, but I only halfway believe it.
