Yankee coaches in the SEC have not typically been around for long tenures. Usually use us for "stepping stones". Like anything could be better than southern football. Not trying to stir up a stink.......but what do you guys think?
I think Saban is happy where he is, if thats what you mean. He has already coached in the NFL and at a big northern school, Michigan state, I think he's figured it out, the south is the place to be.
I agree with Donut. Certainly, Coach Saban is happy at LSU. And, why shouldn't he be? He's got an entire state behind him; he's getting all he needs to maintain a dominant program in terms of resources, facilities, etc.; he lives in a city with the best food in the world!; he's got a great recruiting base; he's at a university with very fine academics; and he's got a fantastic fan base, represented by many who spend countless hours at all hours of the night discussing LSU football and singing his praises on the best fan forum on the internet!!! Long live Saban! :geaux:
