1. Was written by Paul Simon and first recorded by Simon & Garfunkle.
  2. Nice response. Especially since I posted it was Simon & Garfunkel over an hour ago.

  3. Excuse me for not reading your every post before I post.
  4. When Calco posted it I thought that maybe the Doobs had done a cover that I hadn't heard. Calco must have eaten too many disco biscuits (Quualudes)

  5. See, plenty of Freddy Mercury's out there. Now show me more Brad Delps...
  6. plenty of artists can copy, but there is only one Freddie Mercury.

    Brad Delps is very underappreciated

  7. my bad I thought their version was on best of the doobies. but this is a great album.
  8. Please don't blame disco for my lack of memory.
  9. I want to add more on @StaceyO point about this generation not having any icons.

When you look at the Beatles, Stones, Michael, Aretha, James Brown, Metallica there are so many bands/artist that are performing now because of them or someone like them. The thing is they became their own band with their own style and sound.

No one is starting a band with the biebs as their inspiration

  10. Today's "icons" IMO would be Drake, beyonce, Adele, Taylor Swift. The one female artist who makes the most money is Katy Perry but I just can't with her. Take note @GDF, her money is Taco Bell related. Male musicians with the most money are One Direction and Garth Brooks.
