Does this mean USC and AU fans have officially moved from separation right to divorce? Will this spat between 2003 season lovers blow over?

Only time will tell, eh, Barners?

    That's what I'm talking about!

I remember very, VERY clearly after LSU won the :crystal:

LSU and USC were in a heated feud over which one was the legitimate champ, and BAUBARN sided with USC!! In fact, they were practically in man-love with each other.

It is HILARIOUS to watch this spat between these two continue!

Man, Bauburn Basketball is HORRIBLE this season! I can't wait to beat their butts in Baseball, too!

A Marine of all people should know that battles are won in face-to-face encounters with the enemy. Medals of Honor are great things but they don't win wars. And glass trophies are recognized for one year only except for those who can't ever let them go and find something new to crow about. And in hand -to -hand combat, Auburn leads the LSU series 8-6 since 1990. I say that's pretty even for two decent rivals. And for the purists who wan't to pick a different period, LSU leads the all time series dating to 1901 by 21-18-1, still pretty even. Two schools with records that close shouldn't be knocking each other.

As far as I'm concerned Auburn's claim to the title is just as legitimate as USC's claim to the '03 title, neither one played in the championship game and AU was undefeated something USC can't claim.

Since the series started in 1893, bama leads 38-31-1. Most of that lead came from bama's success during the Bryant years. Since Bryant, Auburn leads 13-10.

Auburn had to create an imaginary poll to get anyone to vote them number 1. USC had a recognized poll proclaim them # 1. This is completely irrelevent to which team was the best, but it's still a pretty big difference.
