Everyone makes good points but no one mentioned downfield blocking by the WR's.

If you look @ most of J-Vince’s long runs last year, he was getting great blocks from Clayton and Henderson. :geaux:

I think LSU's lack of downfield blocking from the WR's have really hurt the running game as a whole this year.

Maybe the downfield blocking will come around. Early Doucet threw a hell of a downfield block on the X Man's TD catch and run.

Other then QB's, Bowe has the most yards from scrimmage, and then Davis, followed by Justin Vincent and then AB. So Vincent is having a respectable year. :thumb:

I got caught up in all the (best RB in the nation) talk after the Sugar Bowl and was expecting him to have some major yardage by now. :champs:

He is the same RB from last year and I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets close to 1000 this year. :eek:ldskule:

LSU is very healthy as is the Saints (thought I would throw them in there). :)

LSU 2004 is on the up an up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :helmet:  :helmet:  :helmet:  :helmet:

For that to be a factor JV would have to get downfield.
