So then I disagree with them. I don't see what the big deal is, we all disagree about something. The UN supported whatever resolution it was to get tough with Iraq but the UN didn't support the US going to war with Iraq. That proves the UN can make the laws but they won't enforce them. That was partly because of France and Germany not supporting an attack on Iraq and I think we all know why now. It shouldn't be a secret any longer that France and Germany were looking after thier own interests sending Illegal weapons to Iraq for money. Don't we all agree with the fact that I've just stated? Remember my example? If law enforcement enforced laws like this what would happen? Can we trust France and Germany after all of this? Or the UN? I don't think so.....
count on how many times cd66 misrepresents us and claims we think the UN backed the war, currently at 15. ok thats 16. sourdoughman, cottonbowl66 is bordering on insane, seriously. we do not think the UN authorized the war. we are well aware that the us went to war without UN approval. we similarly understand that the UN was not willing to enforce its own resolutions. so cottonbowl uses straw man arguments, he claims we think something we don't them tries to win the argument by misrepresenting our claims. as you can see i have been counting how many times he does it. repeat, we are aware the US went to war independent of the UN.
