Times are different now compared to the 60's. Once upon a time the media protected athletes. Now they bask in their misdeeds, searching for even the smallest slip-up for a story. Ty Cobb 'supposedly' once killed a guy, but the sportswriters covered it up so he could continue playing.
I'm waiting for all of the dust to settle and find out what really happened. I'm sure that there will be multiple stories and the "truth" will turn on who you believe. I will give both players the benefit of the doubt for the time being. However, what message is sent when a college kid essentially has a criminal defense lawyer on retainer ?

Man the conspiracy theorists need too "chill" and cut back on the cappuccino's. Some of this smells like the Mississippi river downtown at low tide.
