LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Brown, a redshirt freshman from Cordele, Ga., who is competing for the No. 3 quarterback job, already has been disciplined internally, coach Rich Brooks said yesterday. Read the story www.courierjournal.com/sports[/QUOTE] In the running for 3rd string QB at UK ? What a prospect...... :nope:
This ties nicely with the Chuckie hayes non-rape rape in June. UK's another Eastern Division school out of control.
I would not touch this subject if you done your homework. The women accusing the basketball player has had a history of making accusations like this in the past. Ask yourself this question…why would married older women be sleeping with a UK basketball player? Why would she say she was drugged (date rape drug) only to find out she had Mary Jane in her system? Trust me, the accused was in the wrong being with her in the first place. To accuse him of a crime he probably did not commit is wrong. Not even the Lexington DA would not bring this to the grand jury because her story is full of holes. Now the QB in question is a whole different story. This is the first time I heard about it until I read it on a LSU website. This did not make a dent in the local media…Old man Brooks has a little integrity…he has ran off the trouble makers and the ones who do not want to follow the rule of the law. Brooks is old school…if Brown is found to be in the wrong; I am willing to bet he is sent packing and sent on his way out of Lexington. My 2 cents.
Knowing all this ahead of time, why was the un-named basketball player with her? Why is such hot issue in the legal circles? Why is the judge who tossed the charges under the gun suddenly?
Well, if you're a Kentucky FB player (and part-time moonshiner) it is best that you are charged with assaulting a woman as opposed to a farm animal such as a goat, cow, pig or horse. Kentucky does have its standards
1. Bad judgement on the basketall players part. It has been known in the community that the women and player had prior relationships. Women's husband got wind of the relationship (so been told), paniced and cried foul (no pun). 2. Come on, did you have to ask that question...A UK basketball player being accused of a crime. Trust me, the player was not given any special treatment, in fact, if asked by locals, was treated unfairly and was named even before he was charged (by the way, was not, the victim's story has been so inconsistant.) 3. Do your homework, never reached a judges desk. Charges were never filed. The case was thrown out by the Fayette CO DA.
ALL of the media outlets made this ongoing saga their lead story over several days....the major angle being did Chuck Hayes, in fact receive special treatment...c'mon Wildcat Mike, if anyone says this wasn't big news here then they're drinking the Big Blue Kool-Aid.
