Florida's about to have two and South Carolina beat Georgia......South Carolina's about to be in the lead. Even with a Georgia win, South Carolina and Georgia would both be 3-1 in the SEC- with South C. having beat Ga.
Turnovers killed KY this would have been a ball game other wise. I am still not so sure about USCe, Florida will murder them and Ga is a pretty good football team. I can see Tebow running wild on that defense. lol
Very unimpressed with UK and Woodson....weak effort against a good, but not great defense. We should hang another 40 on them. They won't be able to run and we'll be ready for the pass. I'm surprised at so many that bought into their hype. Like I said earlier in the thread, they haven't played a defense ranked above 71. Woodson is far from a Heisman candidate...poor decision making. The lateral returned for a TD was huge. USCe is in control. I look for us to face them again in the SECCG. Should come down to their game against UF.
Yes, Kentucky STILL looked like Kentucky of old. I predict a really horrible October for them, but they'll still make a bowl. But I couldn't figure out whether or not South Carolina has improved in the past two weeks, or if we are really THAT good because we had a gimpy QB on a wet field, couldn't throw the ball well--yet still handily beat SC. Or maybe Kentucky isn't very good. Woodson made some freshman-type mistakes with handling the ball, and I think that will continue into next week. He lost his Heisman last night, and next week, he'll lose the right to even go to NYC as a runner-up.
I like South Carolina in theis game, if it's not too late to pick.:hihi: I think it'll will be close at halftime but UK t/o's will aid USC. USC's defense will score 2 TDs and UK's defense will tire and not be able to stop USC ground game. I don't know if I get it right but its just a gut feeling I have:hihi:
Just visiting and I hope ya'll don't mind me bumping this thread. I'm a Gamecock fan and visited some the week ya'll played our team. Anyway, I'm so glad we beat Kentucky!! GOOOO COCKS!!!! Our defense played well and our offense played -- I'm a little disappointed with our 5th year senior QB being benched, but Smelley (redshirt freshman QB) did pretty well and he's a good kid. In any event, just wanted to stop by and say good luck to LSU against Florida!! I'll be cheering you on to victory!!
Heck no, I'm a big Gamecock fan this year. Hope to have a chance to do something I don't know has ever been done before..........beat SS twice, in the same year. Stick around and let us know how it's going. I honestly hope South Carolina makes it to the SECCG. :thumb:
Kentucky couldn't stop the run. <--- RB's smacking there lips for next weeks game. Um, after Saturday night's game that is.
UK won this game. I was so upset at the way they lost. heart breaker. That is the way Spurrier always wins. I can't firgure that guy out.
