    This is a great site, I just came upon, that shows Kerry's many different positions on the Iraq war.

    About the $87 Billion vote-

    Kerry said "I voted before the $87 Billion before I voted against it."

    That's true.

    There was a bill introuced into Congress that would have offered the $87 Billion, but with the prerequisite that the tax cuts on people earning over $200,000 be repealed, as not to trump up the deficit even more. Kerry voted for it, Bush threatened to veto it, and it failed.

    The second, GOP sponsored bill, would heap $87 Billion on the deficit with no provisions to pay for it. Kerry voted against it, and it passed.
