Maybe, maybe not. Faulk was a great player but great players in any sport rarely become great coaches. Larry Bird was an exception.

too bad it’s a position that isn’t allowed to recruit.

don’t know if Faulk has the gift of “sales pitch”, but him being that first big name stud guy to stay home in a long time would seem like a homerun recruiter in Louisiana.

him still holding records (and 3 Super Bowl rings) wouldn’t hurt either.

fify... great players coaching their position have insight and perspective that no one but them and other players can show...

Kevin Faulk’s knowledge of the position and what he learned in New England can’t have a value even put on it. Not to mention what Nootch said. All eyes on 3 baby

He can't coach or recruit. What exactly is he supposed to do?

There is no way these consultants don’t coach or recruit.

I think there are rules about not being on the field during practice and rules about whether they can b in contact with players. Maybe somebody here knows. The special teams consultant obviously didn't coach the placekickers this season.

Austin Thomas didn’t coach or recruit but a lot of players seemed close to him.
