Amazing. Anything Hillary does is an outrage that will cause the fall of Western Civilization and but let the Republicans get caught in political skulduggery again and it's "Just politics, everybody does it." What a load of crap.
Scalise was tongue in cheek. As I said, I know nothing about him. Didn't even know his name until I read an article saying he could be the majority leader. I'm just not that upset about the $4.5 million. Maybe the dems have never done this but they're all voting for kickbacks for campaign contributors and lobbyists. There's so much intentional waste on both sides that $4.5 million just mixes in with everything else. I'm really just numb to it all and pretty much apathetic.
I cant remember a Republican or Democrat do anything but waste money .To me neither side seems to regret anything they do they just run back to their base group and console each other .
I think apathy is an accurate way to describe much of the nation's mood as it pertains to our politicians. 4.5 million does seem like a drop in the bucket when placed in the context of a 3 trillion dollar a year budget but is still a lot of money.
