Kick the field goal or go for it on 4th down?

    I think it's because he knew (assuming the FG was good) that Tebow and Co. would have had enough time to get into FG range.

    at the very last 4th down try, I was shaking my head thinking how dumb of a call especially since we had alreayd done it 4 times! but....it worked so all I can do is say good job Les....great coach...we have to do all we can to try to get him from going to Michigan.

    I don't believe we would have seen this with any prior coach. Part of it is Miles, part the evolution of college football. Remember Pat Dye kicking for a tie? Orthodoxy long dictated "get points on the board", "a tie is better than a loss" (pre OT), and on and on. This is a different game than was played even ten years ago.

    Go for it. No one wanted Tebow to get a short overtime field to work with.
