Weaker schedules than that? Good God, this schedule is a damned joke. LSU could field a team of underclassmen (Fr & Soph) to whip any of these teams. Herb is just paying tribute to the Big East (publicity) & covering his bases for ESPN. What a shameless whore he has become!
LSUGradin99 is right. Louisville IS in a BCS conference now. But the reality of it all is that I don't think any team in the Big East OTHER than Louisville, will garner much attention (i.e., I think the Cardinals will be the only team in the Big East that will be ranked come season's end). So I think their SOS will take a huge hit compaired to any other team in a BCS conference.

Actually, being in Louisville's back yard, I can tell you the Cardinals are a good football team.... their QB Brohm will be playing on Sundays and you know who is their coach.... I'm not ready to drink the Cardinal kool-aid but based on last year and what they have coming back and on the Big Least Conference they probably deserve a preseason top ten ranking:geauxtige
