I think it's a win-win. Spadoni has been making some news with his transition and I tend to believe that with him coming over from the offensive side, it will help him adjust to playing LB--knowing and being familiar with defending a position that he originally played. Also, Highsmith is still a talent and I'd still feel confident if he were the starter. Highsmith is an excellent option if Spadoni struggles a bit. I think both have a good amount of playing time today.
