Play to our strengths... our offense wasn't one of those last Monday night. As I mentioned earlier, JaMarcus Russell struggled all night. In the 2nd half when we tried to play non-conservatively, it let Tennessee back into the game with an interception. As hard as it was to watch us play so predictably, it would have been even worse to watch us try & force things only to make the game even easier on them with turnovers. I didn't like what I saw last Monday night, but I'm willing to look at the facts and see that this is not all Miles' fault.
he didn't say miles was solely to blame nor am I yet it starts and ends with the HC. that monday game was a coaching abortion on many levels. there's plenty blame to go around. i think blanco deserves some of the blame somehow as well. just not sure how.
To be we just didn't execute in the second half when we needed it, on the first 2 drives. The first drive ended with a fumble by Skler when we had the first down. The second drive ended when we were stopped on second and a long 2 & third and a half yard for a first, an obvious running down. The rest of the half we pretty much threw the ball or dropped back to pass at least as many times as we tried to run it.
I didn't try to imply he did. I'm actually not as optimistic as I come off on this board. I just feel the need to be the optimism among such negativity. There were coaching failures, but there is still hope for not only a good season, but a good program under Miles. I like your plan that Blanco deserves the blame. That ho hates LSU & used some type of voodoo to make LSU lose.
Unless you are privy to every scrap of information that went into the coaches' play calling decisions, you should label such blanket statements as opinion.
Misread that "it's just BR" part... the way some of these kids are quoted makes it hard to understand clearly... I thought he was saying that it is JUST br (as in it is ONLY BR.) What I think he meant is that it's just BR, BEING BR... sorry about that mix up... but his comments following that brought me to the conclusion that he was saying BR is a terrible, terrible place... oh well.. I'm not saying anyting really bad about it but he IS making it seem like it is the vast majority of the fans who act that way... which, actually after thinking about it, it is... slow news day when this is the only thing I can find to bitch about, eh? :grin:

no i don't think I will. i don't need inside information to know LSU wasn't stopping anyone or that the playcalling was horrendous.
