  1. I agree it can't be proven. Therefore I see a marked difference in race and sexuality in terms of discrimination cases.

These folks were discrminated against for the things that cannot be changed, and it is sick.
  2. "he refused to do his job based on race. seems pretty simple to me."

That is correct, and that makes it a Fourteenth Amendment issue.

  3. Agreed
  4. his beliefs are no more irrational than any religious person, including almost everyone here. no big deal. nobody should force him to marry anyone. they should simply fire him.

a kosher jew does not work as a taster at a non-kosher food factory, exact same thing. fire the guy and move on.
  5. and what if said jop refuses to perform or sign off on a civil union because of race? still discrimination.
  6. kinda reminds me of the BYU basketball team, and that wont play on the sabbath, even in the ncaa tournament. i always say you simply dump the irrational person and move on. byu loses by forfeit. this guy cant do his job, he is fired.
  7. The law said you cannot be denied services like marriage licenses based on race.
  8. fired, obviously.

discrimination isnt morally wrong. it is simply a bad worker, thats all. fire him.
  9. this!

its perfectly find for him to believe what he wants.
  10. "Equal protection clause of the 14th amendment has nothing to do with affirmative action."

It has everything to do with Affirmative Action and it's time the Supreme Phonies admitted it..
