I didn't get to watch the game, but I would guess the controversy would come in the fact that they let LSU run up the court and let time run out in regulation before they went back to review it. I think even if it were obvious that her foot was on the line, they wouldn't like the timing of the review.
Can anyone tell me whether it is within the rules to change the score at the end of regulation time; I guess it would have been ok since the game would otherwise go into overtime, and they did put back 5 seconds on the clock. ________ Free joomla themes
Don't be proud of this! I mean a win is a win, but it proves what I been saying all year long: Inconsistency will come back to bite you in the butt... If we struggle against Bama, what will Duke or UNC say to us later?
Sure...... From the commentator just now during the Tn/Aub broadcast: "....and that was a concern of ours is why did they put the time back on the clock? ... in talking with the officials... they mentioned that there was a discrepancy between the officials. One called a two, another called a three. So at the next dead ball they can go and make the decision and evaluate.. and if there is a correction, then they can place the time back on the clock.. and if a coach asks for a determination in the discrepancy, then there is no time put back on the clock."
